Meme debate: changing things to be 'more progressive' seen as backfiring
AI QUICK TAKE
A meme-style post on Reddit claims that changing something to be more "progressive" ends up being a bad thing, with the same wording posted twice on r/TopCharacterTropes. A separate r/hatethissmug post, about gatekeeping, appeared later that day; the items don't show a clear link between them.
