Quote about fairy tales, dragons and children spreads as a meme

A short fairy-tale-style line, "I was told... the point of fairy tales is not to tell children dragons exist, but that they can", is circulating, shared from a Mastodon micro SF/F post by O. Westin. Only one item was collected, so its spread is unclear.
